When learning is a joy - you don't need breaks. We are open 45 weeks a year.
Coaches, instead of Teachers, support you however you need.
Children decide what they'd like to learn, through a Sociocratic Circle model.
Play and a playful approach are encouraged. Afternoons are 'free time' to spend as you choose.
Champions model nonviolent communication and support you to understand the relationship between feelings and needs.
Children of different ages play and learn together in small groups.
All are equal. We all get one vote. We all use first names. No person has authority over another.
Individuality is celebrated in every way possible.
No rewards, no punishments, no shame, no moralistic judgments, no pressure to conform.
Why We Exist
Cultivate Learning is here to provide a place for children to flourish whatever their unique needs; supporting them to take the lead in their own learning. Empowering them to think critically and learn how to learn, rather than focussing on memorising and regurgitating information.
